GREASE AT CAS DI CULTURA WAS  A TRIUMPHANT DISPLAY OF MUSICAL THEATER

This past Saturday, Grease lit up the stage at Cas di Cultura Aruba with a sensational matinee performance. The packed house was transported to the electrifying 1960s, as Aruba’s young talents delivered a vibrant homage to the era immortalized by the iconic 1978 film. The show was a rollercoaster of emotions—bursting with energy, heartfelt moments, and infectious joy that resonated with the audience.

Special recognition goes to Ferdinand Franca and Vicky Arens-Tjon A Tjoe for their visionary leadership in crafting such an extraordinary spectacle. This production not only showcased Aruba’s rising stars but also celebrated the island’s artistic spirit, leaving the crowd inspired and craving more. Grease at Cas di Cultura was a triumphant display of musical theater at its finest.

“Toke di Pasco” Christmas celebration at Unoca

Last night, during Unoca’s “Toke di Pasco” event, guests enjoyed live performances by Las Únicas Fabulosas, the Gucci Dancers, and a poetry recital by Ruthy Vrieswijk. The evening concluded with a tribute to Bertha Wolff, Martha Figaroa, Diana Antonette, and Robert Thiel for their contributions. Additionally, Chibi an der Hans presented Unoca members with a special gift: a book detailing the history of Aruba’s Carnival. The event also honored the life and service of Melany Thiel, a dedicated Unoca employee, with the symbolic gift of a plant, representing growth, unity, and happiness.

Yesterday, “Cas di Cultura” was packed to capacity for the Christmas concert by the “Rufo Wever Music School,” titled Streanan di Pasco (Strings of Christmas). Students from the school had the incredible opportunity to showcase their talents in front of a sold-out audience. PARANDA DI BALASHI 2024 A NIGHT TO REMEMBER AT LINEAR PARK

Last night, Linear Park came alive with music as four incredible bands took the stage to deliver unforgettable performances. The evening kicked off with Roncon Boyz, followed by the dynamic sounds of Shine Music and Tsunami. To close the night in style, the crowd was treated to an electrifying performance by Groove Masters.

Adding to the vibrant atmosphere, Dr. Eli and MC Jona kept the energy high as DJs for the night, ensuring non-stop entertainment between band sets.

The event was a true celebration of live music, bringing the community together in a spectacular display of talent and rhythm. Linear Park proved once again to be the perfect venue for showcasing the island’s diverse musical talent.

UNOCA WITH EXPOSITION OF 23 “CAHA DI ORGEL”

On Thursday night, UNOCA brought the community of Caha di Orgel together to celebrate our cherished tradition, the “Caha di Orgel.” This special event marked a significant moment for music and cultural preservation as the iconic instrument once again resonated within our hearts and souls after a long hiatus.
